New York State Assembly Considers Death Penalty

The New York State Assembly is currently holding public hearings to examine 'the future of the death penalty' according to Assemblman Fred Thiele who represents the east end in Albany.

Mr. Thiele has mailed a survey (yes, another Thiele survey) to get our opinion on the death penalty. Should the penalty be exacted for more crimes, fewer crimes or be replaced with life imprisonment without parole?

If you feel strongly about this issue look for the survey in the mail. If you did not get the mailing you may write to Assemblyman Thiele at PO Box 3062, Bridgehampton, NY 11932
