January 26 (Wednesday): Public Access TV Group Meets in Huntington at 7:30pm

The meeting to discuss the new lottery system (for Brookhaven, Huntington and Woodbury Cable systems) was rescheduled to this Wednesday, 1/26, at 7:30 pm at the Cinema Arts Centre, Park Ave. Huntington.

January 30(Sunday): Candlelight Vigil in Patchogue at 5:00 pm

The South Country Peace Group, Bellport Women In Black & Pax Christi present the 12th monthly candlelight vigil at the Four Corners in Patchogue (Main St & Ocean Ave.) as a memorial to all those who have died in the conflict in Iraq.


There will be a reading of the names of some of those who died in the Iraq war.

January 31 (Monday): O.L.A. Monthly meeting in Bridgehampton at 7pm

The Organizacion Latino-Americana of Eastern Long Island's monthly meeting will be at the Community Room of the Bridgehampton National Bank at 7pm.

February 6 (Sunday): Vigil for Peace at Monument in Bridgehampton at 3pm

East End Women in Black continue the vigil held since August 2002 on the first Sunday of each month at the Monument (Route 27 and Ocean Road) at 3pm.

We vigil in support of peace and an end to occupations of Iraq and Palestine and a return of our troops.

February 7 (Monday): Suffolk Peace Network Meets in Bellport 7:15 pm

All are welcome. This montly meeting will be at the Unitarian Fellowship on Browns Road at 7: 15 pm.

Directions: Take Station Road south from Sunrise Highway to Pearl Street (one block north of marina). Take left on Pearl St. The church is one block ahead at corner of Browns Road.

February 20 (Sunday): Cafe/Open House at Lutheran Church Water Mill

Starting Feb 20th the Lutheran Church of Water Mill /Bridgehampton is planning a monthly open house and cafe' on the THIRD SUNDAY OF THE MONTH from 6 to 8 pm.

These social gatherings of fun, friends, and food will include opportunities for OPEN MIKE, POETRY READINGS, ART EXHIBITS, BOOK DISCUSSIONS, MUSIC, FOOD,
etc.
