War Comes Home - Names of the Dead - Reading May 3 & May 25

In an event planned before the latest surge in the deaths of US Troops took the life of Jordan Haerder of Sag Harbor:

The Names of the Dead will be read in Sag Harbor on Saturday, May 3 from 12 Noon to 6 pm in front of the Sag Harbor Municipal Building on Main Street.

You may 'sign-up' to read during some part of the day by contacting Dan Steiger at 631-831-4966.

Another reading is scheduled for East Hampton on May 25. The reading will be in front of Bookhampton on Main Street. More details will be supplied when available.

As of April 30 according to Iraq Casualties Count 4061 US Troops had died in Iraq.
Mr. Haerter died on April 22. He was the 4045th casualty and the 25th from Long Island.
