This Saturday, the southern African nation of Zimbabwe will go to the polls. Since independence only one head of state, Robert Mugabe has been in power. Opposition candidates are running and according to some reports have significant support.
Recently Hazel Kahan of Mattituck spoke with a white Zimbawean artist about how the political and economic problems of Zimbabwe affect his life.
That interview and a review of Zimbabwe's history and present problems is the subject of this month's Tidings from Hazel Kahan. The program was broadcast Thursday March 27 at 12 Noon on WPKN 89.5 and WPKM 88.7 and wpkn.org.
