Here are programs produced by WPKN’s East End Long Island news and public affairs volunteers.

East End Ink is a monthly review of the literary coves of Long Island’s
east end. Recorded at Canio’s Books in Sag Harbor.

It airs on WPKN 89.5 Bridgeport and WPKM 88.7 Montauk
on the third Thursday of every month at 12 Noon.

On Thursday May 15 East End Ink will present selections from
"We Begin Here: Poems for Palestine and Lebanon" edited by Kathy Engel and Kamal Boullata with readings by Naomi Lazard, Margaret Gibson, Kathryn Levy, Kathy Engel and Reverend Osagyefo Sekou.

Yusuf's Story

The West Bank village of Battir, between Bethlehem and the Israeli border is about to be surrounded by walls built by the Israeli government. This will make travel for work, school or hospital difficult. This is the story of one resident of Battir. WPKN's Hazel Kahan reports.
