Here is the Transportation Info for the South Fork and points along the Montauk Branch for the April 29 March for Peace, Justice and Democracy.

It is suggested that we meet on the last car of the train (or should this car be locked .. the next to last car)

When you get to NYC:

The LI contingent will meet and walk together to assembly point:

Exiting Penn Station on the east (7th ave) side walk East along 32nd or 33rd St to Greeley Square Park at 6th Ave between 32nd and 33rd Streets

The LI contingent will leave Greeley Square at 11:25 and walking down 5th Ave to Madison Square Park at 23rd St (where Broadway crosses 5th).

The contingent will assemble at the Flagpole area of Madison Square.
The March starts from Madison Square Park at 12 noon.

North Fork

North Fork People of Conscience will be traveling on
the 9.43 train out of Ronkonkoma
and assembling on East 20th Street. Look for their banner.

The March follows Broadway and ends at Foley Square ( Between Lafayette and Center Streets - South of Worth St )

A 'Peace & Justic Festival' will be set up in Foley Square from 1 pm to 6pm with booths run by various organizations from 'Clergy and Laity Against War' to groups concerned with various issues such as 'Counter-Recruitment' to 'Women's Issues', 'Immigrant Rights', 'Palestine' and 'Nuclear Abolition'.

Riverhead and Uniondale - 1199SEIU is sponsoring two buses to the rally.

One is leaving from Uniondale, the other will start in Riverhead, stop at Exit 63 and then Exit 49S Park and Ride on the LIE.
