Father Roy Bourgeois at Stony Brook (Apr 1) and Huntington (Apr 3)

April 1 (Wednesday) and April 3 (Friday): School of America Watch Founder Fr. Roy Bourgeois Speaks in Stony Brook and in Huntington

Maryknoll Father Roy Bourgeois, founder and director of the School of the Americas Watch will be presenting at Stony Brook University on April 1 at 12:45 pm and at the Huntington Cinema Arts Centre on Friday, April 3 at 7 pm.

At Stony Brook Fr. Roy will speak at the Wang Center auditorium. 

At Huntington he will be at the Cinema Arts Centre located at 423 Park Ave. 631 423 7611.
Admission for this fundraiser will be $9 for Cinema members and $12 for non members ( no one turned away)


The main thrust of Fr. Roy's presentation will be a weaving together of twenty years of activity in trying to close the SOA including "Now" as the most hopeful time for closing, the involvement with indigenous movements, the interaction with foreign governments, the role of the School in our economic order, the inspiration derived from connection with the memory of Franz Jaegerstatter, and the need for solidarity in the closing effort, with particular emphasis on the role of women.
