Suffolk Will Study Surveillance Cameras in Streets

Newsday reported that a bill by Suffolk Legislator Jon Cooper (D-Lloyd Harbor) to create a task force to study the use of surveillance cameras on public streets as "a way to deter or solve crimes" passed this week as the new Democrat and Working Families Party controlled Suffolk Legislature met.
