June 7(Tuesday): Speak Out for Jail Alternatives at Legislature in Hauppage at 9am
Suffolk County's Criminal Justice Coordinating Committee (CJCC) has published a report that outlines 29 recommendations that could potentially reduce the size of the jail by 460 beds, eliminating the need for a "super jail". In light of this news we're asking all supporters of alternatives to incarceration to voice their approval of the new findings at the Suffolk County Legislature on Tuesday, June 7 at 9am.
