April 30 - Peace Event in Southampton

Dear Friends,

Saturday, April 30 is a major day for peace activities here on the East End.
Over 1500 crosses, stars, and crescents will be displayed on the lawn of United Methodist Church on Main Street at Post Crossing Road in Southampton. There will also be an exhibition of over 1500 photos displayed in the church (or on grassy area behind the church if weather is good). The displays will be up all day and the church will be open from 9am till 6 pm. In addition, between 3-5pm. Reverend Sekou from the National Clergy and Laity concerned about Iraq will be the keynote speaker at an event at the church which will include both a formal program and workshop/discussion groups. Speakers and participants will also include local veterans, religious leaders and clergy, civil rights workers and peace activists.

Tell your friends - pass the word!
